Artemis, Most likely, Samsung is the only brand that still has its own native input method. These days, most Android providers offer Gboard (Google's native one) by default. In Gboard, if you have the number row enabled above the letters, the 'Voice input' button will be located above the zero, or if I’m not mistaken, above the letter P. I personally prefer keeping the number row above the letters right from the start so that I don't have to keep switching back and forth between the symbol keyboard and the letter keyboard.

Rachel, If you are on a Dell, you will likely need to configure something in the BIOS so that the mode doesn't change every time you turn on the laptop. To be honest, I’m not sure if you’ll still have a hotkey after doing that which would allow you to switch between the two modes.
