The constantly barefooted Ray!
I love the way you incorporated a diary entry of mine into the third stanza of that song like that every bit of it is absolutely true. I remember it so well. And my hometown is still recovering from hurricane either, which struck here in 2021. Many people down these parts still don’t have a place to live. And it seems, that nobody cares: except for perhaps immediate family.
