I never really got much into Finch. I tried it. It was a little too spiritual for me in different ways than I would’ve liked and it didn’t really help me get my routines in order it just cluttered up my life. Maybe I’ll try again sometime. If you’re looking for a standalone app, I don’t know what else to suggest but you could try the BabySitMe app if you like. It cost a few dollars but then it’s only a one time payment and you can take a teddy bear or a doll or anything and role-play with it and it will give notifications when the baby needs something with realistic cries for like a baby doll and stuff that’s what I use.
