  That’s very exciting. I’ve never ridden with Amtrak because the nearest station is about 90 miles away from where I live, but we are considering a trip to Oregon via Amtrak this coming year that ride would take around a little over 40 hours not counting layovers in Los Angeles about 10 hours. I hope you will continue to give us reports as you travel along your way
