So where did all this start? Have you ever listened to old radio broadcasts of news events? It was much more objective and not as opinionated as it is today. I think much of this stems from people getting information from social media and putting themselves in an information bubble only hearing the news they want to hear. Example, just look at the difference between X and Bluesky. Another contributor is media bias and the government stepping in and shutting down freedom of speech. If you shut down the ability for people to express themselves they will just try harder to get their word out. All this leads to conflict.

If you know the way that you’re doing things inspires others to hate you, then I think you need to rethink your way of handling things. It’s so it’s OK to be compassionate or passionate about your interest in your beliefs, but it is never good to use things that inspire people to hate anyone. So fine on, but we’re supposed to try to live with men as peaceably as we can. I know, sometimes that means that we have to tell people exactly how we feel, but try to be a sports right and honest without trying to inspire feelings of negativity or dislike. I don’t really like people who try to go all out and win, I’d rather see some compromise.

OK, sure, this should be common knowledge and to the extent that it is not that’s sad. But, having said that, there are red vines

I absolutely agree with this, I don’t need to agree with everything you say to be your friend. So many people have lost the ability to have differing opinions and talk about them. Personally I feel that social media is the root cause of so many of our problems, people sitting behind their keyboards talking trash and never thinking about the consequences of what they are saying. Especially with politics families have been split apart because of political opinions.
