Birmingham has I would say some of the best Indian cuisine outside the subcontinent. At least that’s what I’ve read. Also, come try showdown if you’re facing a bit of Blind Sports stuff LOL. Very low barrier to entry but very fun. Those are two unique Ish kind of things I can think of the top.

Hello mate, it really depends on when you’re visiting. You mentioned you’ll be here in the next couple of months, so spring or summer. Summer is especially nice, as the weather in the UK is much better. There’s loads to see in central London, including Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, and Big Ben. You’ve also got the British Museum, the Natural History Museum, and Madame Tussauds. The West End is great too, with lots of theatres and a big pop culture scene. Food and drink are a big part of it as well. There are plenty of different beers and ales to try, and the UK does Asian food really well, especially Indian and Chinese, each with its own local twist. American-style fast food has also become very popular recently, with places serving beef brisket and smash burgers, which are especially popular with younger people. How much you see outside London really depends on how long you have, as London alone can take a lot of time to explore properly. If you do travel out, places like Stonehenge are worth a visit for the history. Manchester is great for its live music scene, and the Lake District in the North West is amazing for nature, hikes, and proper local fish and chips. In Wales, Snowdonia National Park is well worth it. You can climb Mount Snowdon, the second highest peak in the UK. It’s a full-day hike but very rewarding when you reach the top, and if you’re exhausted you can always take the train back down. Scotland is also a great option, especially Edinburgh, which is very historic, with its old castle, cobbled streets, and friendly Scottish people.

We have Aldi here too, but lidl is much better because they have an in stoor bakery where you can get croissants, apple turnovers and fresh baked doughnuts.
PIKACHU!
Callum. If you mean Aldi, we have that in Oz. It’s your adopted child. It is our adopted brother

Oh, and no stop off in the UK is complete without a trip to Lidl, a German supermarket chain that we’ve adopted.

I can tell you some unique foods and I don’t even live there. Beans and toast and bangers and mash and all kinds of weird shit.
