It’s funny that you should say that, because right after I posted the link, I wondered if it was a bad idea. If people don’t know me, they might see it and think I have something to say about how people dress, and honestly, I really don’t. Back when I was 12 years old, and the group Kris Kross was big, I went through a phase where I wore my pants backwards myself, lol. I’ve always found different styles and trends interesting, even if they weren’t necessarily my thing. I actually have a lot of respect for people expressing themselves however they want. I think that’s one of the dangers of seeing a single post, hearing one comment, or watching a link that someone shares. You’re only getting a small snapshot in time, not the full context of who that person is, how they think, or what they actually represent. And I get what you mean. Sometimes it does seem like people are quicker to judge someone’s intentions based on one post or one joke. In this case, though, I just thought the guy was entertaining and figured it might give a few people a laugh. I’ve got to admit, the post still cracks me up, lo.
