That’s exactly the kind of thing I’m talking about! I don’t know why you can’t just read the whole document without scrolling. I don’t get the point.

I definitely agree. Because I’ve also had an instance where I was reading a document on the pages app on my iPad, and I was using OS 13 at the time, and right when I was trying to get to the next part of the document there was a vertical scroll bar there, same as when I was trying to read a PDF document for because why not, the same thing happened, where there was a vertical scroll bar there as well, so it didn’t even let me read pretty much most of the document. Because I had to scroll to read the other part of it, but it almost took me to the middle of the document basically.

Yeah, you’re very right. I don’t really think I meant a literal ban. I meant get them off of literally everything. They’re not supposed to block off unread messages in chat apps and make you scroll. They’re not supposed to be just stuck there when something can’t load. I was just really annoyed at the insane amount of bars on top of random things that don’t need bars on them.
Landon 205
Well, I’m sorry to hear that. Hopefully there will be a workaround for that, because yes, you could try to ban them, but also maybe try to have them a little bit spread out as well. Although how you could do that I’m not entirely sure though. I do like how tables are still obviously organized in columns and rose, that’s still pretty manageable.

Yes, sometimes they do need to be there, but they don’t need to be stuck on top of everything. Mine has a tendency to just plop a vertical scroll bar on top of anything and everything and that’s why I made this post.
Landon 205
Well, in terms of vertical scroll bars, maybe they’re supposed to be there? Maybe they’re supposed to be a reason for why they’re there? I’m not entirely sure what the reason was but they made them in iOS 13, and they can be a little annoying at times, but they don’t really appear too much at least for me.
zackmack2000
I hear ya on that one.

Oh yes, I’m very lucky. But you got to experience more early Internet than I did so consider yourself lucky. I arrived pretty much right before it became a giant mall.
zackmack2000
I use the website more than I do the phone, but I get what your saying. Also, consider yourself lucky you never had to experience dial up like I did. If anything ever locked up on you, especially a download you had to wait on for hours, you were majorly scrued and not in a good way. Heaven forbid somebody tried to use the phone while you were connected to the Internet, the hole thing would just go splat and whatever you were trying to do was lost.
電脳隷従P
Exactamundo! And when you get a notification from Ramblio that someone comments on your post and then you click on it and you don’t see the comment unless you back out and open it again like two or three more times what the hell?
zackmack2000
Ugh. Shrugging shoulders here. Dial up. Oh. God. Don't remind me of those days. Used to have to wait for hours just to get a demo of jaws to download and window-eyes. But yes, you sure did get better messages back than, nowadays you go to try to do something and with NVDA, you hit the command to get the status bar information and you get told no status information. Yeah, you'll sometimes get a progress bar but that's about all you'll get and than the server out of no where goes splat!
電脳隷従P
I was not on the Internet at that time but yep it sure does feel like I’m trying to do 2026 stuff on dialup. But at least you had more understandable error messages.
zackmack2000
Zack here, yep, sounds like the server could be overloaded. Lol, reminds me of the times years ago with old as hell versions of internet explorer in windows xp when it would come up saying the page could not be displayed, or, probably the worst of all, can not find server in IE6.
