When I was a kid and I still had some vision, even the teachers thought I could see better than I could.

Yes! I actually had one lady follow me down the street and yelled at me telling me I was faking it that I really could see and why do I have that came? What's that supposed to do or proof and she really got pissed at me, so, I kind of got pissed right back. Lol I generally Keep my cool about everything but she grabbed my cane, she pretty much was telling me I was a fake liar, and well, it didn't go down well. But there are a lot of people that straight up think that I can see them, because I look in their face as you know. When I was buying the car, for some reason, this lady thought I was gonna be the one driving it. I said no, you can be sure when a person has a white cane, they're not driving cars.

Absolutely. I have three people in my neighborhood over the last 10 years accuse me of faking my blindness. One is a crazy old man who screams at me from across the street. The two others are bar patrons at the bar I go to. I think it's that They placed the bar so low for people that are blind when they see someone doing better than they assume we could do. They get the idea of their head that we're faking.

Yes mate. Old dude down the street from me in my old house would tell all the people at the shops that I was faking it. Even when 2 people told him that I have glass eyes he still did not believe it.
