Blind. We'll figure it out. I figured that if we're both blind, we don't have to explain stuff and what we can see and can't see, we won't treat each other like we charity cases, we won't treat each other like we're less than or need to be taken care of and fed, we won't get scared when someone bumps into something because we are afraid that they're going to break something because they're blind, . This is my world. I need and would like my partner to be inside of my world. This is what I do every day all day and this is who I am. And it is a global phenomenon. Blindness and their ramifications of it encompasses your entire world. It does not stop you . It just encompasses your whole world. I need him to understand that. However, he needs to be very very independent and resourceful. I need to be able to take his arm, not him taking my arm. It would be the blind leaving the blind but he will be in front. Lol

Cited, for sure. I mean no disrespect to the blind ladies out there, but I’ve dated several folks who were blind, and for one reason or another, it didn’t work out. Dating somebody who could actually drive would be nice, but that’s not the main reason why I’d prefer a sided partner. And it certainly has nothing to do with being taken care of. Rather, I seem to relate better to sighted folks in some ways. I’m probably not making sense, but there you have it.
