Then I watched the movies, and I'm glad I read the books 1st. I know they have the traumatized Harry Potter series coming out right now, but I'm gonna wait until book 5 comes out before I buy them. That way I can just read them all without having to wait all those months

I did not read the Harry Potter books until 10 years ago when I was in my 30s, and I actually loved those books. Great story, great writing, great character development, great narration, and I completely understand how it has such a following. I wish I would've run a much sooner when they first came out, but I was interested in other stuff at that time.

Hey Eddy I'm the same way but it also depends on the story. Some of them I just rather go straight into the book dramatization version, while some I don't mind just reading without it. Like for example the Harry Potter books, I never read them before I just saw the movies and now I'm reading the dramatized versions.

A lot of times Jasmine I feel that I get more of the story whenever I read the book 1st in a non-dramatized narration, and then later on when I re-listened to the book with the dramatized version I seem to get more out of it as far as just relaxing and watching the action take place.

Yes! They are all on Audible
Jasmin
Hi Eddie, thank you for the recommendation. Are these books on Audible? I don't have Spotify

Hey Jasmine I've been reading the "vampire Hunter D" series for quite some time now, and books 27 and 28 are coming out next month. These books have a full cast of narrators, and it's a post apocalyptic series about a vampire Hunter named D who is the only descendent of the sacred ancestor. If behalf Spotify this book might be free there so you can try it there, and the books are about six hours up to eight hours long at the most! Each one of his own adventure, and it's very fun and addictive. This was the very first Japanese anime I saw when I was a kid in a very early 90s. Yes, a mold

Hello Jasmin, I just read the Shakespearean tragedy King Lear and it was one of the best I've heard. You can find it on Audible. The copy I downloaded offers two options. First, the version that comes with line-by-line or stanza-by-stanza commentary. This provides historical context and some interpretation. The second option comes afterward, just the play itself. It's a full cast and they all do a great job. Be careful if you decide to get it because there are a few King Lear dramatizations on there. Good luck.

I am reading Stormlight archive now as audiobooks. Michael Kramer is the person you were trying to think of.

Thank you so much everyone for all your recommendations, a few of these books I have heard of but didn't know that there was a dramatized audio version so I will definitely check it out, and I'm grateful for the new recommendations as well. Will definitely be checking them out.

If you decide to read something through graphic audio, one of the series I used to read was by Jon Land. The title is Caitlyn Strong. She's a female detective and there's a whole series of stories that are about her. Another author you could try from there is Larry Sweazy. The series they have by him is about a woman named Marjorie Trumaine. They are detective stories written from the point of view of somebody who used to be a book indexer. Not related to graphic audio, but another series you could try is the inheritance book series by Christopher Paolini. I don't know that I would say it's fully dramatized but the sound effects in it are amazing. That series is something I read a long time ago so I don't remember all of the titles, but the first book is Eragon- the inheritance.

The BBC has a number of radio plays, I second his dark materials which are the Philip Pullman stories. I actually can’t believe that there’s a graphic audio version of the storm light archive, I listen to the original audiobook with Kate Redding and Michael, whatever his name is and I really enjoyed it so It’s definitely a good recommendation.
