Biggest challenge in life to me

As a child, i was pretty free everywhere. I didn't walk out to the street, but I explored both buildings of both schools I was in and a little outside, a music school, a small school where various clubs were held, a kindergarten, in fact, any building where I could move without someone grabbing my hand. When we were in our house in the woods I explored the porches of the neighboring closed houses and went quite far. The only thing I'm afraid of because of the stupid stories I listened to before going to sleep is the wild forest and swamps. Therefore, I clearly remember the moment when I wanted to explore the meadow near our house, but caught a panic attack halfway and thought I was lost and could hear frogs in the swamp. Now that I am an adult, I miss those times, because although it was dangerous, it was a real adventure and a real challenge. Now I train with a cane, it's slow but relatively safe. Find a good teacher and you will fight your fear. Do not depend on anyone

I am not sure what problem you have with navigation for sure, but if you have any questions about it, you can ask me. But basically you use the cane as a third leg that you pull in front of you so that your first and second legs don't get tangled over something. You also use this third leg to follow some line on either side of you, a curb or lawn, so if you remember that line, turns, posts and trees on the way, you will know the path and can walk it alone. Many navigation instructors follow the old instructions and try to teach us to count steps. My instructor always tries to change my grip on the handle of the cane, but it doesn't work because I'm used to holding the cane one way.
