Hi Paul, yes the site loss councils do a lot of good work and they’re actually led by blind and partially sighted people, which is more than can be said for the Rnib.

I hear you, Callum. As an advocate myself, I volunteer for all the major sector charities including RNIB. I think they do want to do better but it seems to be that they’re tied up with too much bureaucracy and they’re not able to move quickly. I may talk more at some point as to why I’m concluding that. As said, I hear you.

It would be great to get your perspective because I’m an outsider and I haven’t worked in the sight loss sector before so I’m guessing there are quite a lot of different challenges to overcome
