We have not done different languages though the main leader probably knows enough Hebrew to try. :-)

That's an interesting and likely interpretation as well. The belief regarding the writing of the ten commandments on the ground stems from the only other time God has been known to write the law with His own hand on Mt. Sinai. I personally thought it likely since parallels are often drawn between the old and new testaments by new testament writers. I've not heard of this portion of Scripture being in dispute, so interesting kernel of info. On the matter of biblical translations, I usually read the KJV and NKJV versions as they seem mostly reliable. If I ever learned Hebrew and Koine Greek, I'd opt for the original manuscripts which would be the closest thing to perfection as far as reliable sources go.
