Years ago I had read that mainland China offered leave per month for women having their period. The below is from ChatGPT: Leave at this time isn’t national, but at the provincial or local level through guidelines, with at least 20 regions offering 1-2 days of paid leave for women with severe menstrual pain, typically requiring a doctor's note.[1][2][3] These policies date back to the 1990s from central government agencies but remain non-binding recommendations rather than mandatory law, unlike maternity or marriage leave.[2][3] For example: - **Yunnan province** (recently introduced in November 2024): Up to 2 days for severe dysmenorrhea with medical certification, plus hygiene allowances.[1][3] - **Zhejiang** (2017 guideline): Up to 2 days paid leave.[2][4] - **Guangdong**: 1-2 days, but limited to women in physically demanding jobs (e.g., standing over 4 hours).[3][4] - **Jiangxi**: 2-3 days, longer than most.[3] - Other areas like Shanghai, Beijing, Shandong, Sichuan, Shanxi also provide similar provisions, often 1-2 days with restrictions.[1][3][4] Implementation challenges include difficulties obtaining doctor's notes, workplace stigma, supervisor approval hurdles, and inconsistent enforcement, leading to calls for national legislation to make it paid and standardized.[1][2][3] Some employers voluntarily offer it, like one Beijing company allowing 1 day via a private app screenshot for privacy.[1] Prevalence is high: Over 50% of women experience 1-2 days of discomfort monthly, with 10% facing severe pain.[1] Note that invasive verification practices have been reported in isolated cases, such as a Beijing university requiring proof, sparking outrage.[5][7] Policies aim to support women but vary widely by location—check local regulations for specifics. If you'd like details on a particular province or related topics, let me know.

Honestly, majority of women are not comfortable talking to men about their period and if you are that’s up to you, but you also have to be considerate of the other person that you were talking to and in culture some cultures yeah they just don’t talk about things. that’s just a woman thing about their own business. Also, usually you talk with your partner about those things but if you’re comfortable talking to other people that’s up to you, but you gotta be considerate of the other person. Usually women talk to other women about it, but I don’t know if the daughter would be comfortable talking to their dad more comfortable talking to Mom about it but you know if you’re a single father it’s gonna be talked about you know it’s normal .

Beto: actually, it’s very safe while on your period. As the woman is several days away from ovulation. It’s actually extremely safe. You would not have to worry about her getting pregnant at all.

I mean, orgasms do genuinely help with headaches and other kinds of pain, sometimes but not always. Or so I've heard, from one of these friends we all seem to have who apparently love to share sex details with us. I think there's some kind of science behind why that is that I'm not going to look up. Maybe that science was made up by a chauvinist man, who can say, but if so then I guess score one for the chauvinists because he was right.
Beto
It is very safe, so safe, in fact, that if you want to get her pregnant quickly, that is the best way!!
Antagonist
Rondo, my friend says it’s safe.
Rondo
Asking for a friend, is it safe to have sex on it?
Antagonist
Any ailment that can be cured with sex is undoubtably a rumor that was started by some chauvinist man. However, I’m all for it, and love to see when women jump on board and support it! We need more of this in the world! 😂

Jim, is that a ketchup joke? 🤣 appropriate that you would include hotdogs in the matter…

Period sex can be great for cramps, and headaches.

Well, I certainly agree with you that we shouldn’t be squeamish, but don’t make it look like men are just primitive and unwise when it comes to this subject. We’re not. However, it isn’t a subject that I like to talk about with relish.

That’s crazy fluids filling different! Lol

Well, since y’all are saying or misinterpreting my message, OK, then not dirty, but still bloody though! I just don’t like it because I don’t like blood in the side of it!
Antagonist
The thing about period sex is the actual sensation. The fluids mix and have a different texture altogether. It just feels different and strange. At least, from what I’m told… 🤣

I don't agree that it's dirty, and if there are pieces of anything in it then I'd be mildly concerned about that lmao, but I'm also not interested in period sex. Mostly because I feel extremely un-sexy during that time and don't think I would be able to get into it. It does help a lot of people with cramps though I'm told.

Shit, I have four sisters and grew up as the only male in my house. I’ve been practically swimming in Blood since birth…

I'm not grossed out about that at all, but I'm just cautious about it at times. For example I do not want to swim in the ocean next to a woman twho is on her period, simply because I don't want to swim next to shark bait!
Eddie Howitzer
Do you think that vampires get turned on, or excited whenever a woman is on her period?

This is one of the ways I decide if a man is worth having in my life. If you're so grossed out by a simple biological function, and especially if you want to sleep with women, grow the fuck up. Periods are awful enough for a lot of us without having to worry about a manchild's reaction to them. All the men I'm friends with, which aren't that many lol, are comfortable discussing periods and would be fine with going to pick up whatever menstrual products the women in their lives might need. That's just baseline being an adult and having relationships with other adults stuff to me.
