I hope I'm right... I do agree with those" who lean towards issues from the physical screen. I've noticed just now that my screen doesn't look right; there is one place that looks like it blows up or something... it is like the screen is coming off my phone"! I wonder if this is caused by the battery inside?

No, it's just on my phone, and I have not noticed anything suspicious happening yet, but this typing random letters does make things inconvenient!

I'd not pay for support just yet. Download bit defender and register for the trial, then do an advanced scan.

I'd also try to think about malware that's trying to guess your PIN. Did you notice that it does the same on other secure or sensitive things?

You mentioned that there is no keyboard connected to your phone. That may be the case, but you can be sure of it by turning Bluetooth off and trying to lock your phone and go through the whole thing again. If it is still happening, it might be something going on with a dirty screen, or moisture as previously mentioned.

try cleaning your screen really good, wow, that's wild, never seen this one before but I know moisture and touch screens don't mix.

O wow, this is a case for the Ghost Busters t seems…sorry that u r having this issue. Hope it gets fixed, but I would suggest disabling the lockscreen code for now and seeng what happens…

I checked it just now: no keyboard is connected to my phone. Don't know what could be happening.

I hope you solve your issue, if not try contacting Apple support, but they may suggest resetting your phone

I don't have any wireless keyboard connected to my phone. No, your thought is not really random; it makes perfect sense that there might be something connected to my keyboard... Actually you know what, I think I'll have to go check.

Also, I don’t know if u have a bluetooth keyboard type device connected to it that may b under a couch or something that’s being pressed. Try turning off bluetooth also…I know that sounds random, but I have several bluetooth keybaords and ther was a time when random things were being typed cuz the keybaord was under a pillow or something…

Sorry, I deleted my previous comment. I was going to retype it. Try turning off the lockscreen password requirement. Just to see what happens. U could turn it back on if u notice it being weird. What kind of phone do u have by the way?
Tracey D
I've thought about that too, but I'm also thinking if it unlocks on its own, and with my passcode off, it will start to do crazy things!
