I accept that UK culture does not treat this word so heavily. But I'm asking people, now that this has gone on for so long, to accept that other cultures on this platform see it differently. To not have known this is understandable. To refuse to accept it and fly in the face of it is simply rude. We are not asking you to lie or commit some other moral infraction by catering to a multicultural community.
