I researched this a bit in the last few days and found, to my surprise, that lethal injection is considered the most statistically likely to fail out of the choices we have. At least that part of the equation is not political and is worth considering, from any party's perspective I'd say. I've voted democratic for most of my life, though I'm rather politically homeless just now because there are a few things largely sought by democrats that I am not able to defend or support. This is frustrating to me as I'm sure you can imagine. Also nice to see you out here. :-)

Wow! I understand that anesthesiologists sometimes have more difficulty with red heads, so I figure that would likely apply here too. And a general reply: I have mixed feelings about the death penalty. My email signature quote sometimes says, "No one alive is beyond hope; every second of life is a chance." But there are definitely some people who will never change. The trouble, and of course the risk, is deciding which is which.
