Hi! I thought things were changing regarding people nominating from the floor? I forget whether it was last year‘s convention or the convention before, but a couple of people nominated themselves from the floor randomly during the election. I believe it was unexpected. They were able to speak and everything. I remember asking how it was handled and surprised that everyone on the board was so gracious about it. I don’t know whether the people got yelled at or not but I know they were allowed to speak and everything. I remember even though they didn’t win Jessica Beachum really encouraged them and thank them for nominating themselves.
