I’m wondering whether you could approach this in a slightly round about way. As you know, I’m heavily involved as an Advocate at Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre as one of their Access And Inclusion team. I’m finding out so much about other people from all protected characteristics; what they do; where they go and yes, often joining them on their exploits. It’s has been and continues to be a real joy. I know several Trans people now that I wouldn’t have otherwise. Last comment to bring this directly to your conversation starter. And you’d be so very useful in any number of group settings.

Nice to meet you Connor, my city has one of the largest LGBT communities, close behind New York and San Francisco, From nightlife to daily activities. I would say you just have to get out there and enjoy yourself. We are people too. We like to have fun just as much as anyone else. I used to be on the LGBT bowling league, as well as the blind bowling league, and I'm sure there are outings, social events, or just friendly spaces to hang out in your area. If I were closer than 4000 miles, I would try to take you out.
