The only option is to swipe up with 3 fingers a couple times until you can get passed the posts and shorts section.

I hear you. YouTube seems to keep changing the nature of things that appear in the main feed. For the last while, mine has been obsessed with showing me all kinds of shorts, when I really want to look at videos. It’s pretty annoying, but as Victoria pointed out, the best way to get past it all is to scroll with three fingers.

I just scroll past it swipe up with three fingers goes to the next page. You might have to do it a couple times.
