I'm a gay man, but because I've had two very problematic relationships that were supposed to be commited ones, I'm trying to sort this out myself. The idea of being and having someone be the one and only is frankly scary to me. Emotionally abusive people who show you with both words and actions that your feelings don't matter, your opinion doesn't matter if it doesn't agrae with theirs will do that to you.

To be clear, I have a lot of respect for the LGBTQ+ community, and when I ask questions, it’s really just because I’m a curious person and I want to understand the world better. Even though I’m a straight female, I generally like learning about different walks of life, so I value everyone’s opinions and the personal experiences you've shared, and I really appreciate it.

That's good for usa, but The Op is from the philippines. i'm not sure about the philippines, but i know several asian and eastern european countries where the aversion to non-straights is strong. I am sure there are many such countries

I've actually been with a couple of women in my day. There are definitely some aspects of women that I totally love, but sexuality is not one of them. I'm not disgusted by it. It simply doesn't turn me on.

I am fully straight, but i think i understand how it feels. If straight people like me think about the same gender relationships with themselfs, they would feel disgust, rejection or nothing at all. I think gays and lesbians feel the same to the opposite sex, and feel attracted to the same sex. It is difficult to understand at first, but when you can turn the situation around you will understand. And, just in case, if you feel attracted to females, There is nothing wrong with same-sex attraction, as culture in many countries tells us. I know a lot of blind gays and lesbians, and i saw even more here.
