Lol it used to be common knowledge in the United States that you don’t allow Nazis into the public Square, let alone all three branches of government

The party and it’s supporters have gone fascist based on their actions and their words. I live on Capitol Hill in Washington DC lol so I think I come into plenty of contact with Republicans in my life and in my work not to mention some family members. It’s not just a mad King, it’s not just a few bad apples, although that bad apple analogy is usually misunderstood. It means that eventually the whole bushel goes bad and less The bad apples are gotten rid of. I don’t see any talk of doing that in either party really.

And it’s not about Trump only or even the Republican Party only, the leadership of the Democratic Party is more or less in line with Maga policies at this point. It’s a hard reality to face but we have to start

There is nothing wrong with not accepting such things, but there is such a thing as stariotyping and that’s what we’re trying to avoid. Not voting for Trump is one thing, but that’s not the same as being evill yourself because I know many folks who support Trump who are also not evil. They just support Trump for whatever reason that’s mysterious to me.

this is hogwash. Nobody has to engage with fascists or racist at all. They have a huge megaphone because obviously the billionaires have an easier time stealing the country as long as they can inflame these tensions and divisions, but it’s not divisive to say you won’t tolerate fascism or racism.

This is something that needed to be said. People are too quick to put on labels. If you’re a Democrat, it means you automatically support women having to dress in locker rooms with men. If you are a Republican, that means that you’re racist or homophobic. It’s either one of the other and that seriously contributing to the increasing polarization we seeing in the United States.
