Annotations are really appreciated your post very very much and it reminded me of how when I first started out learning mobility on a big campus that was very dependent on him, but I didn’t wanna go anywhere by myself but you know when you get friends and they say all right it’s time for you to start doing things on your own. We’ll go with teaching. You’re gonna do it on your own and so yeah, I learned that I had good mobility instructors. I went to the Illinois Brio and site saving school in Jacksonville. Illinois. Got a very good education there I would never say I regret it going there although as a black man, it wasn’t made to feel that comfortable environmentally well, you know what I mean the school was excellent but going into town anyway I did learn to be independent and I learned good mobility skills and I still use them and I’m I mean I’m quite thankful and quite appreciative of all the instructors I had who taught me so much mobility wise and tell me how to be independent cause if I hadn’t learned I wouldn’t have been able to do all the things I’ve done I’ve traveled around pretty much a lot of the US pretty much on my own and even went to live in New Orleans. I didn’t know anything about New Orleans before I went there, but I went to live there based on the bank that I wanted to do blues and Louisiana was a place to go for the blues got a job the very first day I got on Bourbon St., God was good and kept that job for 2 1/2 years, then had my own band down in New Orleans for another year and a half so I was quite blessed and quite successful and it was all like you know you say due to the fact that you wanted to learn to be independent and get out there and do the things you wanted to do, but as I said, I appreciate your post and I know we both go through a lot of things and I don’t think you would’ve been a burden you shouldn’t have been a burden on anyone that you’ve asked to lead you around the first times you were there on campus. I always think of learning as you go but still, you know students who would’ve thought it was a burden on them. Well, I think they’re kind of snob as myself anyway you have a good night again I appreciate that comment of yours.
