Wow, thank you for sharing young man. I too thank God that you are here to tell your story and to encourage others to have faith and resilience and strength and courage. Discrimination is real. Medical neglect is real. That was my first thought after I heard your story and actually while you were telling it. Your symptoms were minimized Your diagnosis was casually thrown together. And your need for treatment, I assume perhaps pain management, was denied. Typical but shameful at the same time. Now, these are not events that happen 40 or 50 years ago, but a mere 20 years ago. That's a whole Nother topic. But that should not have happened. No way. I will pray for you and I hope that you have a good and merry Christmas. The struggle is real brother. And blessings to your mom as well.

Inspiring indeed! I’m not religious myself, but I’ve listened to this twice because it was so amazing. I also had no idea that back pain could literally be a symptom of the flu
