I believe that if this is not a hypothetical, you already made up your mind. But, to answer your question, if that bothers me, and I think it would, I would unfriend them. Probably not block them, I'm not that petty.

I usually don't block or unfriend people I no longer talk to, unless they're harassers or they violated my privacy, my willpower, are badly influencing me or are working social engineering over me. Otherwize, if I unfriend someone, I know we have a huge life ahead of us. Humans and situations with interactions can change every second, I believe. I am the person who lets you have multiple chances after we messed up. Maybe it's because of me, maybe it's because of you. If we know that past is in the past, I'd rather knew I had a chance at restoring something rather than having unfriended someone or closed their pathways to reach me.

For me it depends on why the friendship went down hill. If it was just a disagreement or whatever, unfriending them from other places isn't a big deal for me. However, if it was a real bad thing why we have stopped being friends, then I would unfriend them from all places.

I don't know if what I said is the best thing to do, but at least that's what I think.

Life‘s too short. Move on and let it go for now. You don’t necessarily need to delete or block. But if it gets to a point where it starts to bother you to see them on social media then I would suggest deleting. Hold onto your peace. Spiritually for me, anytime God has closed doors on friendship/relationships, I’ve just learned to let it go. If it’s meant to be rekindled at a later time then by all means. If not, then that was just God‘s way of letting me know that I didn’t need that friendship or relationship. Who knows what calamities may have presented itself later on and I believe that’s God‘s way of keeping me and my peace protected. thanks for sharing and I hope this helps.
