This is for Sufe, lol. All glorious 14 minutes. I'm sure someone who's more in the atmospheric black metal scene could find a better example of mainstream acceptability. There's lots of different styles of black, this is the most chill I can find. We crazies listen to more blast beat shreek stuff for our ambience. Anyways, moving away from black metal next time. Or maybe not, who knows what pops up.

you almost had me there. I was just thinking hey, this would be awesome to add to the playlist I have where I have instrumentals that I like to sit and write too. And then, about 2:21 came along and well, I said I've been had. You tricked me into listening to more than one minute! How dare you! But actually, I came for the guitar riffs, and stayed because the groove was overall nice. Sometimes other metal tracks tend too cram instruments, vocals drums and they're not always mixed the best. I like the more minimalist approach at least at the start of the track. I don't know how it progresses deeper in I will have to find out. this was almost on parr with some of the winterson stuff I like. So, I will actually listen to all 14 minutes of this, when I don't have to be productive. Lol📍🏃

@Ash Greenaway wooo nice. I've had a wave of nostalja lately for this sorta music. Did you also enjoy wolves in the throneroom? They're probably my favorite atmo black band. @Sufe yea I did it, woo. There's actually black metal with clean vocals, I just don't know of any off the top of my head. Now for a true horror show, oh I gotta post that for tomorrow. Pornogrind is what I as a metal fan think regular metal fans think metallica sound like. Either that or the worst of noise rock.

Ulver, I think they're a band with clean vocals aren't they? I also listened to Zasthur, Leviathan as well. I still have "fucking your ghost in chains of ice" on my playlist. That's so incredible you saw WITTR live. I wonder how atmo black would be live, can't imagine much headbanging. Cascadia is in Washington or the pacific northwest. The US has such vast swoths of undeveloped land that just has music that writes itself. Speaking of electronic, tomorrow's music will be Coil - from your neck of the woods I believe. If you're a fan of that sorta electronic ambient / psychadelic I think musick to play in the dark - particular vol 1, is really unbeatable.
