I have never read Dracula before but now this has caught my interest. I know it's a classic and if I ever thought about reading it I've thought maybe October would be the right time but I didn't know that there was an actual start date and since you mentioned a publication date for May maybe I will try to start that this month and see what I think of it.

Publication day is on the 26th, so you still have some time! But really, no time of the year is a bad time for Dracula. I literally think about it every single day.
