You bring up some really good points and you're so right. I don't know how society can justify the way it operates when it comes to this. But what you said about the pronouns was absolutely hilarious and true. I actually had to undergo eight hours of training at one of my jobs for diversity equity and inclusion. It is so crazy what you can and cannot say in the office these days. They've even tightened up on us on what we can say on the air. Back in the day you could pretty much say anything on the air if it was intended for entertainment purposes. so if I wanted to talk about a hot producer that I had or acute intern as long as I was on the air I could do it within a reason. Now that is a huge no-no.

Great wisdom, orange.

Leo, I can agree that institutions that are promoting diversity do nothing for accessible technology or hypocrites. I’m reminded of my current healthcare plan list braille as a way of receiving correspondence, get everything I yet all my mail is still in print. What irony.

I know that my opinion is not very popular when it comes to this stuff because a lot of blind people just simply don't wanna hear it. I'm all about getting out there and making myself a viable productive individual. But there's a lot of blind people that are out there waiting for people to do that for them. And if you're waiting for people to do that for you, get used to being at the bottom.
Gordon
The blind people who allow themselves to stay at the bottom will remain at the bottom. But that's not the way it has to be, you have so much power when it comes to your placement in life. I can assure you that not everything is going to be handed to you, but there is a lot out there if you reach out and go for it.

It’s all in your mind, mind over matter.
