Having universal healthcare like every other country would save us upwards of $1 trillion per year, and prevent over 100,000 deaths per year. Plus, it would destroy the health insurance companies that skin 20% off the top before they even start denying peoples claims. It’s a no-brainer but there’s too much money involved to get the politicians on board I guess

Jim Clyburn is another member of the congressional Black caucus who is a complete sellout. He gets hundreds of thousands of dollars from the pharmaceutical companies to block any progress relating to healthcare. I don’t believe any Democrats can work against these corporations at this point. Obama campaign on single payer healthcare but the minute he got elected he said it wasn’t going to happen lol
