Generally speaking, in my opinion, the specific distribution, putting arch aside of course, doesn’t generally matter as long as you either use the gnome or mate desktop environment. There’s work being done on the other desktops, from an accessibility standpoint, but they are certainly problematic at best. I have cycle between Ubuntu and Fedora generally, on different devices depending whether I wanted the five year support window for ubuntu or preferred the rolling release cycle of fedora.
