Well, of course humour is one way to cope effectively but for myself I’m very careful how I use it. I don’t like to make jokes at my expense or others, expense or entertain jokes like that. If I do entertain that for a while, I always make sure to apologize or clear things up. I have had so many experiences where I have felt overlooked and invalidated, which has made me. I guess a highly sensitive person but I know I can come out of it.

I'm with youPaul. I smoothe awkward interactions with the public through humor. I also use humor to cope with things in general. When I'm feeling down or needing to be distracted, I'm more apt to reach for a comedy of some sort before anything else. But really, It's just hard for me to imagine how you genuinely frown and laugh with true happiness at the same time. PS: your ramblio productions are fantastic. I wish yours didn't get burried beneath um ... what I find to be lesser content but perhaps that's one for the suggestion box. 🤡
