Being LGBT is not a lifestyle you fucking bigot!
Well I honestly never thought of it as a lifestyle either myself, but it seems that if you hear people talking about it they refer to it as a lifestyle. And I’m talking about people who are LGBT. Definitely not all, but there are some who do refer to it as a lifestyle.

Being gay isn’t a lifestyle. A lifestyle is how someone chooses to live, such as their hobbies, career, or daily habits. Being gay is a person’s sexual orientation—who they’re attracted to.

I don’t think straight people view being straight as a lifestyle

Well a lot of public people I’ve seen like Ellen DeGeneres and others have always referred to it as a lifestyle. But maybe that’s perhaps because they’re in the public eye.

Oh there is nothing more annoying than those people who will record a voicemail greeting and say that they and their guide dog can’t get to the phone. Like their dog is gonna call anybody back. Seriously, that is so ridiculous. Now if you’re going somewhere and your guy dog will be accompanying you, then it would be appropriate to mention them. But calling someone back, I don’t think so.

Hey Missy, I was thinking maybe your cleaning person mentioned that she was gay, to get a sense of your reaction to find out whether she’s working with someone who might be uncomfortable with her being gay or homophobic, also it’s a subtle way of finding out if the other person would be comfortable with a gay person being their cleaner. So even though your cleaner would be professional and just do their job, maybe one day they might come in wearing a pride necklace, for example, and if you were someone who was homophobic, you might have a problem with someone wearing a pride necklace around the house while they clean for you, for example.

But being gay isn’t always to do with finding that you’re someone who has sex with the same gender. There’s plenty of people who are gay and identifies as asexual for example, they find the same gender attractive, but they just don’t have any romantic sexual relations ships with anyone.
