It would be really helpful if you showed us what is happening. They seem to have changed their format and 'it can be a bit confusing. If that isn't the case, I'm really curious about what you're seeing.

Nobody said you were lying boss! But, it looks like for most people it’s working, therefore, if there’s any updates, make sure you do that both on the iOS side of things and on the Facebook app itself. Go into your App Store and go under your applications that you have on your phone and click on Facebook and then see if there’s an update there. Good luck.

If you’re double-tapping on a text field and it keeps bringing up the Facebook emoji / expression picker instead of the keyboard, it’s most likely just a Facebook bug. There isn’t really a setting on your end that fixes it. This issue seems to come and go — I’ve had it before, and right now I’m not having it at all when I tap text fields. If your Facebook app and iOS are fully updated, it’s basically a waiting game until Facebook sorts it out. One thing that sometimes helps is double-tapping and holding on the text field for a moment to try to force Facebook into text mode instead of expression mode.
