OK so you want to record these things? You might be able to use a combination of an app called soundflower and another app to record. Soundflower would be what you would use to get the output of the app you want into the recorded. It's what I believe audio highjack was based off but I have not used it and I heard it is complicated. That's about all I got for the mac.

PS dragging and dropping is actually possible with the Mac if you can do it that way! Use VO+Shift+H twice to the commands menu and search for drag or drop. I believe the keys are vo+shift+comma to drag and vo+shift+period to drop.
