OK, I found out which centre is referred to as the freedom center. It is the Louisiana centre for the blind in Ruston Louisiana. Is that the one that you are at?

No, the Alabama freedom center for the blind is what I'm talking about. It is a completely separate center, but it is very similar to the Louisiana center for the blind, and most likely also similar to blind Inc.

Congratulations! That's quite an accomplishment. Now the important thing will be to take everything you learn and to keep on doing it. Though I'm not sure that hosting 40 people is something you want to do on the regular, but I hope they helped you also learn how to just make more regular and manageable meals that you'll actually cook once you leave the center. sometimes the hardest thing is learning how to make meals that are scaled down for one or two people. Lol 🍹🍲
