OK, I've tried everything, but it still won't sync up with the tracks

Also, tapping on the time allows you to adjust hours, minutes, seconds, and milliseconds.

With hokusai, the play head time is where tracks are inserted. If you want to hear them all during playback, you must have all the tracks selected that you want to hear. Otherwise only the selected track will play. The adjustable selection head allows you to select multiple tracks. Or, select none and all tracks will play.
