I actually would’ve donated if I would’ve known that was going to happen with the betas. I already pay for Vorail don’t even really use it. I’m not sure if that’s the way it works, if I went and made a donation now am I going to be invited to the beta right after that?

Sounds goofy if you ask me. I think the reason you pay for Vorail is because you like going back and forth talking shit behind folks backs. I’ve heard you on Vorail several times talking shit about Ramblio, claiming how Josh is such a terrible Developer, yet because you’re two faced like lots of those fakes on Vorail, you want to trick peeps into believing you’re fair when in actuality, you’re too double minded to be trusted.

Yeah I would have donated out here a long time ago if there was a simple way to pay instead of having to create a whole separate account and do all that. They’re just never was the motivation to do so and the app is free so I never did.

@Cute Cuddly: You apparently are as confused as I was about this release’s distribution. As a Beta Tester, I was under the impression we’d get the release first. Actually, the latest beta version is, 1.5.3 Build 230, while the beta being discussed in this ramble is a beta of version 2.0. While I agree that paid members should have access to the latest betas if they choose, I still believe this should have included the Beta Testers first. My suggestion is that beta testing should only be open exclusively to paid subscribers.

You need no such separate account to donate to the app. you can get to the ByMeACoffee page in the more tab. You can even use apple pay to make your donation. The beta for 2.0 was given to those who have subscribed or donated as a little thank you for July 4.

This I did not know. The way it looked to me I thought you had to create a separate account for Kofi and I had no idea that they accepted Apple Pay.

OK so I’m trying to figure out how to do this. I went to the Kofi page and selected membership and I chose the one that’s 8 pounds. Then it told me to either sign in, create a new account or proceed as a guest. So I clicked sign in but it wants an email address and password which I don’t have a password for Ramblio so I’m not really clear on what you mean by I guess using your existing Ramblio account? And I never saw an Apple Pay thing, just the credit card stuff so if you can let me know how to do all this I’ll be more than glad to.

Yes, Apple would be much easier. I’ve looked all over this Kofi stuff that don’t see anywhere where you can pay with Apple Pay. They want you to evidently create an account from what I see and then they’ll store your payment method and that’s what I don’t want. I don’t want just another website storing my credit card number. That’s why I like Apple Pay because they handle all that stuff. But that Kofi stuff is confusing, and I’m pretty smart when it comes to the stuff.

Apple takes a large cut of money from the person whose app you are paying for. This is why the payments are made independently of Apple. The money goes further and more is able to be done with it. it is also very easy to set up a monthly subscription if that is what you want to do. Once you set it up you can cancel it at any time. There are different subscription models available, just take a look and find the best one for you. But the one time donation is also an option. there will also always be a free version of Ramblio for those who feel they are unable or unwilling to pay for the service at the time.

I just joined the, “Serial Ramblier Plan” via, PayPal. Was sent an e-mail message from Josh thanking me along with a link to the Test Flight 2.0 version of Ramblio. The e-mails came almost immediately. At first when I opened Test Flight, I got an error saying the version was “no longer available,” but after a few tries and minutes, the app populated and I noticed that the version had indeed changed to 2.0. Did not find an “Apple Pay” link As for the app, it’s working, but it’s too early for me to say anything other than the interface seems greatly improved.

Yeah I donated yesterday and I got an invite to the Beta, but I didn't join it. I don't mind waiting for it. But yeah, I thought you actually had to be a payed member to access the Beta, but you can just donate and you'll get access.
