Yeah, in 2026 it's honestly ridiculous we still gotta explain this to people. most Muslims aren't even from the Middle East. Indonesia's got the biggest group—like over 240 million peeps. Then it's Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Nigeria... all way bigger than most Arab countries. Total Muslims worldwide? Around 2 billion now, maybe a bit more. Only like 20% live in the Middle East and North Africa. The rest are chillin' in South Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa, you name it. Asia and Africa got the real majority. Back before the 80s, normal folks just knew basic stuff like this—no need for a viral post. Now? Everyone's brain on vacation or something. Common sense died quietly. 😭

Also very true. When most people over here think of Russia or the Soviet Union, they're only thinking about a relatively small part of the entire country. It is what it is 🙂
