It's definitely strange, and I also couldn't understand why it happened to me but there was definitely a difference with the charging of my phone.

Yeah, David has caught on to it somewhat. And besides that, temperature fluctuations are also partly responsible for this kind of abnormal battery draining. For instance, with temperatures hitting 44 degrees Celsius in some parts of India right now, phones in those areas will overheat, which in turn will increase the tendency for batteries to die faster. It's very basic physics, lol!
