Reactions to an original post, meaning not a comment, are entirely anonymous. (I've often mentioned that this makes for a way to do polls.) But if I react to your comment on a post, you'll get a notification telling you which post the comment was on. On the web at least, you don't get told which emoji was used; not as sure about the phone app.

Even with the notifications on comment reactions , it’s kind of inconsistent.

On this end, I don't get told which reactions are given at all. I do get told of people react comments though.
