    For the record folks, the appropriate thing to do if you are certain someone on this platform is under 18, is to report it to a moderator or Josh, with your evidence, not to attempt authority yourself. The appropriate thing to do if you strongly suspect someone is under 18 on this platform, is to report that in the same way, but as a suspicion not a certainty. Platform administration are the only people with authority, and indeed mandate, to address such concerns carefully. Those who are 18 and over should find relief in this, because it basically means vigilantism is not welcome but also that their presence is safer because of appropriate response to real intrusions, which sorry to say do happen now and then. And I, too, am sorry you encountered someone who presumed undue authority with you.

    Panda: I don't claim certainty, but I believe she is 18 and have seen no reason to challenge her when she says so. I have seen reason to challenge stated ages of a few other people here in recent months, but this poster is not one of them, and nor are there any that currently spring to mind that are still here.

    Well I have heard from other people recently that when she is asked, she in fact does not reply with I am 18, and that she sheepishly replies with old enough.

    Matthew: And I disagree: If I block someone, whether you can survive that social action is simply neither up to me nor in any way my problem. Bullying is a different thing; some of this is summarized in the link I posted. I do think many people overuse and over-advocate blocking, but that doesn't change the fact that blocking someone is not cause to feel like you caused a person's passing, no matter what they do. I'll address the issue of minors being on here in an audio; but in summary, it is a legal issue for the platform itself and absolutely must be enforced in order for the platform to remain operational.
