I completely forgot that was a thing you could actually see on Facebook and Instagram at one point. It wouldn’t bother me personally, but yeah I can see the point. It does feel a little weird knowing things are just being shouted into the void a bit.

Re: Robert's suggestion of being able to see the number of listens a ramble has gotten, I guess my question is, wouldn't it be equally demoralizing to get no engagement and be unsure whether people are listening and to get no engagement and be able to see that people listened and just didn't care enough to interact? That was always my feeling about that feature on Twitter when tweets had tons of views and no likes or replies. And it was public on there, so everyone could see that it had been viewed that many times with no interaction, which I feel like would be bad for morale. Instagram and Facebook started allowing people to hide the number of reactions on posts for similar reasons. I'm not opposed to this feature being implemented here, to be clear, I don't care about my number of listens either way. I'm just not sure if it would have the desired effect.

I really love this app, I know it isn’t always consistent, but just having an audio only community makes me feel a lot more comfortable than trying to decide what to post on Instagram or YouTube all the time. Really glad you decided to make it.

App store release is currently depending on a few visual parts, but I am pretty much ready to send it there for sure. I have done a few bug fixes that I'm probably going to push out tomorrow.

Yes, a lot of people view betas as incomplete software and they might not really be up for testing it. But this app has really been smooth with the beta process. so I do think that things will pick up up here drastically once this thing hits the App Store.

That said I do feel like this could be pretty close to App Store release, the user interface feels smooth, most huge bugs seem to have been taken care of, we have a community, but I do agree Test flight shuts a lot of people out.
QuestionAtl
I don’t see shared audio correlating with low posts on the app, lots of us waited for that feature for a while. I do think the idea I suggested about notifications from people you follow would help incentivize people to check more frequently. I think it is a matter of the novelty wearing off a bit, @josh I understand you being a little uninspired, but as the developer, it’s your job to lead the trend of incentive. There’s an old phrase that says if you build it, they will come, if you stop building, there’s no expectation for people to stay around.
Gordon
If this app goes to the App Store there will probably be a lot of people that come out. There's just a good number of people who don't do betas. this app definitely has a lot of potential.

I know. Its sad. It drives my motivation; having less posts is making me slower haha.
