THE DARK SHADES NETWORK CLIPBOARD TO AUDIO SHORTCUT CREATING THE CLIPBOARD TO AUDIO SHORTCUT WITH VOICEOVER Step One. Open up the Shortcuts app on your iPhone. Swipe right until you hear VoiceOver say Create Shortcut or the Add button and double tap it to start a fresh one. Step Two. Swipe right to the Search for apps and actions field and double tap. Type in the words Get Clipboard. Swipe through the search results until you hear VoiceOver announce the Get Clipboard action and double tap to drop it into your shortcut. Step Three. Go back to that search field. Type in Make Spoken Audio from Text. Swipe to find that exact action in the results and double tap it. VoiceOver will automatically link it to your clipboard text. If you want to get fancy you can swipe to the Show More option inside this action to pick a sexy Siri voice but the default works perfectly fine. Step Four. Hit that search field one last time and type in Share. Find the Share action and double tap it. This is the magic door that will let you send or edit the final audio file. Step Five. Swipe to the top of the screen where VoiceOver reads the generic name of the shortcut. Double tap it select Rename and type in something simple like Audio Maker. Double tap Done on the keyboard and your shortcut is fully built. SETTING UP THE VOCAL COMMAND Step One. Open your iPhone Settings app. Swipe down to Accessibility and double tap. Step Two. Swipe down until you hear Vocal Shortcuts and double tap that. Step Three. Double tap Set Up Vocal Shortcuts or Add Action. Swipe down to the Shortcuts app and double tap it. Swipe through your list until you hear the Audio Maker shortcut you just built and double tap it. Step Four. The screen will ask you for a custom phrase. Type in whatever command you want to say out loud like Make Audio. Double tap Done. Step Five. VoiceOver will prompt you to speak that phrase out loud three times so the phone learns the deep rumble of your specific voice. Just follow the prompts and speak naturally. Now your voice trigger is locked and loaded. HOW TO USE IT AND SEND TO HOKUSAI 2 Here is how you actually use this slick setup in the real world. Whenever you find some text you want to convert just copy it to your clipboard. Then say your custom phrase out loud. Your phone will quietly run the shortcut build the audio file and pop up the Share Sheet. When that Share Sheet opens swipe right to hear your options. You can double tap a contact to text it to a buddy or double tap Save to Files to keep it on your device. But here is the real sexy part. If you have an audio editor installed on your phone like Hokusai 2 it will show up right there in this Share Sheet. Just keep swiping right through the app list. If you hear VoiceOver say Hokusai 2 double tap it. Your phone will immediately launch that audio editor and drop your brand new sound file right on the editing timeline so you can chop it up and produce it like a damn pro.
