The part that really bothers me about this is I’m sure that we have blind folks out there who really can sing and who really can perform, why do they go straight up special Ed for this kind of stuff and put the people who can’t on the main stage to showcase blindness to the world. Gordon, this is literally your favourite week of the year. Even though you don't go to the convention or anything like that, this week gives you the material for your next years shit talking. Why would you even be tuning in to the first morning of general session if you have such a low opinion of the organisation as you seem to? it would be kind of like me checking out a Star Wars convention and just spending the next 12 months talking shit about it. Of all the complaints that could be made about the NFB, this seems like pretty small potatoes, at least in my opinion. I’ve been to dozens and dozens of events put on by cited people for all sorts of different reasons and people singing, however badly, is a pretty common occurrence.

Yeah I would think you would want to start things out on a good foot so that people will stick around for the meat and potatoes. if they’re going to start out general session with the band is terrible as that was, they should be passing out shots of Jack Daniels or tequila to go with it. You would have to be extremely intoxicated to find that band entertaining. The band was OK, the singing was just despicable. And the harmonizing! Oh my God that was bad.

Another thing which makes blind men and women look more competent is the ability to check their own spelling and edit when they have made mistakes with their dictation. Gordon has so much to say about the NFB, and yet he can't even write a coherent sentence and make sure words are spelt correctly. But that's okay, big man, you keep on talking your shit.
