More like, this sounds like a lot tedious. I personally would not do it, even though it is technically possible. Not to mention, with all of the hacks and different things you would have to do on your own, the experience just would not be fun in my opinion.

I believe it is definitely possible to plan a trip to Disney, Universal, or even a Disney cruise on your own, and I would never say someone should not do that. That said, I do believe it is often safer to travel with someone if you can. At the same time, I understand that not everyone has someone available to go with them. In any case, I would recommend making as many reservations as possible ahead of time, just as you mentioned in your post.
