"I am a new Christian reading the Bible, and I want help learning how to understand and interpret what I read. For the passage [Insert Book, Chapter, and Verse(s) here], please walk me through: 1. The Context: Who wrote this, who was the original audience, and what was happening historically/culturally at the time? 2. Literary Style: What type of writing is this (e.g., historical story, poetry, letter, parable, prophecy), and how does that style affect how I should read it? 3. The Big Idea: What is the core message or truth the passage was communicating to its first readers? 4. How It Connects to Jesus / The Wider Story: How does this section fit into the overarching story of the Bible and redemption? 5. Practical Application: What is one clear, grounded way this truth applies to following God in everyday life today?

it sounds to me like you're trying to lay a guilt trip on someone. If you really want support the first thing you must do is start praying go directly to God. Nobody can support you the way he can. And I agree with AI wizard. You don't know what kind of situations your supportive friend who has not been supportive of you lately is in. So it sounds like to me that you're thinking more of yourself and the things that you didn't gain rather than thinking about your friend and maybe possible legitimate reasons that they could not respond to you. And stop trying to use Christianity as a bad example for people of faith. That religion doesn't matter it's your direct relationship with God that truly matters. So if you're not getting the support you need, you need to look at yourself first. You have a Bible in your house, start reading you don't need someone whom you say has neglected your spiritual needs to get you on the right track. Go to God First and God will see that you get the spiritual help you need.
