I don't believe in them, but as a Christian I believe that God could make star positions coincide with other things if He so desired. The study of this, then, is not to me a problem unless it becomes worship instead of education. Herbal medicine is just as empirical in nature and sometimes finds things that Western science has not yet proven, though of course it can also produce "knowledge" that is later proven inaccurate. That's the danger of relying too heavily on raw data without careful analysis. Example: If it worked five times, raw data says it can, but analysis might say it won't except in specific circumstances.

Just for fun I'll make a bold prediction: AI is very good at pattern recognition and improving at analysis. I predict that within the next two years if not already, someone will successfully produce an AI-enhanced defense of either horoscope accuracy or horoscope randomness. I hope any such analysis also takes into account the real social effects of the horoscope predictions themselves. I will most likely read such a production with keen interest, no matter what side it comes down on.

Interesting very valid. Everyone honestly, I thought there would be more people who were into astrology and the belief of it. But at the same time, I understand because it’s cool to look at, but I’m not gonna take time out of my day to go deep into something that has no background proof to it
