Sometimes it’s hard for me to make friends with a sited person even being in a environment with a bunch of sighted people and they don’t really acknowledge me

is that really a fair conclusion? After all you haven't met everyone in the blind community. Not even out here. So why don't you give yourself a chance? Just because you get rejected by a couple of people doesn't mean you're gonna be rejected by everyone. Friendships don't come easily, you have to establish them. They have to grow. And they have to start with some mutual attraction. So, maybe you just didn't have anything in common with the people you were trying to be friends with. I find it no more difficult to make friends with those who are blind than I do with those who have eyesight. Give yourself a chance keep trying and eventually you will be successful. Everybody needs friends. I hope you find some out here soon.

Personally, I find large groups of blind people a little bit uncomfortable and overwhelming. It’s also been my experience, and mine alone, that blind people, on the main, make for poor house guests. This is not to say that I haven’t met some wonderful exceptions, and its important to note that these are just my experiences
