Command A selects all regions in all tracks. If automation mode is on, it will select all visible automation lanes

When you go onto a track and press control + home, does it say the selected region starts on bar 1? When you press play, does voiceover announce bar 1 or does it start from -1? Sometimes Logic can turn on a pre roll or the global locator can get out of sync for reasons. If the selected regions are lined up but not starting at bar 1, just press command + A to select everything. Press Enter to make sure the locator is at the beginning of the project and press semi colon to move the selected regions beginnings to the playhead position.
